DAMACRYL RAPID VET

DAMACRYL RAPID VET® is designed for short-term wound support, retaining approximately 50% of its initial tensile strength after 7 days at 37°C.
Its braided multifilament construction provides excellent knot security and easy handling, supporting controlled and reliable suturing during surgical procedures.
The suture is coated with Poly(glycolide-co-L-lactide) (30/70) and Calcium Stearate, helping provide smooth handling and tissue passage.
DAMACRYL RAPID VET® offers fast and predictable absorption, with complete absorption occurring approximately within 40–60 days.
Its in-vivo inertness and lower tissue reactivity make it suitable for procedures where temporary wound support is required.
DAMACRYL RAPID VET® provides the required tensile strength during the early healing period, followed by rapid loss of strength and absorption.
It is suitable for general soft tissue approximation and ligation and can be used in a wide range of veterinary surgical procedures.
